(L.A.) Robert Abdelkader, 28, Died From Gunshots

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Abdelkader.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP ROBERT ABDELKADER (October 24, 1995 – June 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:12 p.m.

The decedent was fatally injured after a mass shooting broke out at a pool party in Compton. This was on East Greenleaf Boulevard near Mayo Avenue.

Five other people — three women and two other men — were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Compton Fire Department said.
