(L.A.) Richard Sterling, 46, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Richard Sterling.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine

RIP RICHARD STERLING (August 7, 1977 – August 30, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:28 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 6, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
