(L.A.) Rhonda Ford, 66, Died From Recreational Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Rhonda Ford.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Cocaine and Phencyclidine

RIP RHONDA FORD (January 24, 1958 – December 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:42 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
