Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 74-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Refugio Perez Beltran.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Diabetes Mellitus

RIP REFUGIO PEREZ BELTRAN (October 15, 1950 – February 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:25 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 19.
