(L.A.) Rebekah Del Rio, 57, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Rebekah Del Rio.

Cause of Death: Morphine and Codeine Effects

RIP REBEKAH DEL RIO (July 10, 1967 – June 23, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

The decedent was a singer/songwriter known for being in David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive.”

She was born Rebekah Coronado in San Diego County. Her mother’s maiden name is Rios.

Her signature song was the ballad “Llorando,” a Spanish-language version of Roy Orbison’s “Crying.”
