(L.A.) Raylene Cardenas, 18, Died from Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 18-year-old Latin American female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Raylene Cardenas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Alprazolam, Lidocaine

RIP RAYLENE CARDENAS (February 18, 2005 – March 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:53 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 12, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
