(L.A.) Ray Jacobs, 31, Died from Gunshots

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Ray Jacobs.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds
RIP RAY DAVON JACOBS (January 2, 1992 – August 26, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:09 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 11.
The decedent was known professionally as AUGUST 08, a musician and singer who co-wrote on the Billboard-topping hit “I’m the One” by DJ Khaled featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne.
His handle on social media was August08.
No arrest has been made in this crime. August 08 was leaving a location in the 4300 block of West Adams Boulevard when suspects approached in two vehicles and fired at him.
