(L.A.) Raul Islas, 32, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Raul Islas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Cocaine Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Sleep Apnea

RIP RAUL ISLAS JR. (February 15, 1993 – September 10, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
