(L.A.) Peter Lin, 36, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Peter Lin and listed his race/ethnicity as Latino.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Heroin, and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP PETER LIN (February 28, 1987 – September 28, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Peter Lin” in public records.
