(L.A.) Patrick Smith, 49, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Patrick Smith.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP PATRICK SMITH (January 4, 1974 – December 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:40 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 15, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
