Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Patricio Alvarez Morphy Jr.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries
According to Loyola Marymount University, Patricio “Pato” Alvarez Morphy was a sophomore theater arts major who died from injuries sustained after being hit by a car. He was an international student from Mexico who was active in LMU’s Theatre Arts program and on social media as an influencer with more than 89,000 followers on Instagram.
