(L.A.) Oscar Romero, 53, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oscar Romero.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension; Congestive Heart Failure

RIP OSCAR ROMERO (December 28, 1969 – September 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental overdose.
