(L.A.) Omar Arvizu, 43, Died in Pico Rivera

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Omar Arvizu.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Traumatic Injuries

RIP OMAR ARVIZU (April 3, 1981 – March 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:15 a.m.

The decedent was killed by his partner, 42-year-old Brian Harrington, at their home in Pico Rivera.

Deputies responded to a house in the 9400 block of Harrell Street at around 4:50 a.m. after getting a call about a man not breathing.

The couple had been arguing, apparently while drunk.

Harrington was arrested on March 6. His next court date is 12/18/2025 in Norwalk.
