(L.A.) Michael Pierce, 64, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Pierce.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acetaminophen Toxicity

RIP MICHAEL PIERCE (May 31, 1960 – March 3, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
