(L.A.) Nino Demery, 29, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Nino Demery.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

RIP NINO DEMERY (March 1, 1995 – November 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
