(L.A.) Myra Thomas, 59, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Myra Thomas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP MYRA THOMAS (1966 – October 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
