Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 18-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Santana.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MICHAEL SANTANA (September 15, 1986 – April 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:18 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
