(L.A.) Michael Montes, 46, Died on a Public Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred at a public sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Michael Montes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Congestive Heart Failure and Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
