(L.A.) Michael Harris, 63, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Harris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Condition: History of Lung Cancer

RIP MICHAEL HARRIS (June 2, 1961 – January 1, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:50 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
