Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Dahl Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alprazolam and Oxycodone

RIP MICHAEL DAHL JR. (November 13, 1987 – January 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:31 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
