(L.A.) Matthew Pawlak, 35, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Pawlak, resident of Valinda Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:42 p.m.

The vehicle was at 3915 Capitol Avenue, City of Industry, 90601.

Buprenorphine is an opioid partial agonist. It produces effects such as euphoria or respiratory depression at low to moderate doses. With buprenorphine, however, these effects are weaker than full opioid agonists such as methadone and heroin.

There are at least 10 L.A. death records that mention buprenorphine. The first time was in the year 2011.
