Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 81-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at an intersection.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Matlid Baghdasrian [sic].

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP MATILD BAGHDASRIAN (December 3, 1942 – August 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:58 a.m.

Note that the government investigator spelled the decedent’s given name as Matlid. This may be a misspelling. Matild is a common Armenian forename. To have it corrected for legal purposes, the family can tell the funeral home to call the Department of Medical Examiner to make changes to the public record.
