(L.A.) Mary Turner, 72, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 72-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Mary Turner.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Phencyclidine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
