(L.A.) Martin Ponce, 29, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Martin Ponce.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP MARTIN PONCE (July 10, 1995 – October 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:15 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
