(L.A.) Martin Munoz-Ontiveras, 62, Died in September

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Martin Munoz-Ontiveras.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease, Hepatitis B and C Cirrhosis, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late October, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
