(L.A.) Martin Marinovich Jr., 76, Died at a Shelter

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a shelter.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Martin Marinovich Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin and Diazepam

RIP MARTIN MARINOVICH JR. (November 11, 1947 – October 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
