(L.A.) Mark Paulson, 65, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old male that occurred on a beach.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mark Paulson.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
The decedent was a boater from Redondo Beach who went missing on January 19, 2021, after reporting engine trouble and concerns about being blown out to sea from the Palos Verdes shoreline.
His overturned boat was later found, but his body was not recovered.
A human femur found on January 8, 2023, was matched to him through DNA testing.
The @USCG and @RedondoBeachCA Harbor Patrol are searching for an overdue boater, Mark Paulson. Redondo Beach Harbor Patrol received a 911 from Paulson stating his boat was adrift near Torrance. If you have any information, contact the Coast Guard at (310) 521-3801.
