Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mark Gaspar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP MARK GASPAR (February 19, 1969 – September 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:17 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
