Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Marisa Gasper.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Miyamoto.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent appears to have been of Japanese descent.
