(L.A.) Maria Ilustre, 69, Died from Cerebrovascular Disease

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old individual.

The coroner’s office has identified the person as Maria Ilustre.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cerebrovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, History of Prion Disease

RIP MARIA ILUSTRE (December 16, 1953 – July 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:34 p.m.

The name looks female, but the medical examiner insists the decedent is a male.

 
There is an obituary for a woman named Maria Alana Alcaraz Ilustre who died on July 3, 2023.

Further, the DME logged as “unknown” the decedent’s race/ethnicity. The surname Ilustre is associated with the Philippines. From a photo online, one can tell Maria A. Ilustre was of Filipino descent.

Note that this is the first-ever mention of prion disease in the County’s over 150,000 public death records that we have seen.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.
