Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Arthur Thompson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Heart Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Oral Surgery and Medical History of Bladder Cancer

RIP ARTHUR THOMPSON (October 30, 1958 – April 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:22 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
