(L.A.) Marcus Nisi, 39, Died in Temporary Housing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black male that occurred in temporary housing.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marcus Nisi.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Wright.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Condition: Epilepsy

RIP MARCUS ALLEN NISI (July 17, 1985 – August 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:24 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 6, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
