(L.A.) Marche Butler, 35, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Marche Butler.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Ethanol Toxicity

RIP MARCHE BUTLER (January 17, 1989 – February 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:44 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 8.

This appears to be a case of acute alcohol poisoning. She drank too much in one go.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the victims didn’t intend to kill themselves.
