(L.A.) Mirai Shepard, 19, Died at SoFi Stadium Lake

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Black male that occurred at SoFi Stadium Lake.
The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Mirai Shepard of Chula Vista, California.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Drowning

The decedent is believed to have gone into the lake to swim, but after going underwater, did not resurface.
In July 2022, Javier Bautista-Reyes also drowned at the So-Fi Stadium Lake.
