(L.A.) Marcelo Nava Perez, 38, Died at a Transient Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Hispanic male that occurred at a transient encampment.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marcelo Nava Perez.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity
RIP MARCELO NAVA PEREZ (February 20, 1985 – April 16, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:00 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 5, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
