Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Manuel Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Death

Cause of Death B: Cardiomegaly with Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Cause of Death C: Morbid Obesity (BMI 41.9)

Other Significant Conditions: Oxycodone Intoxication, Hepatomegaly with Fatty Change

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
