The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Mamie Jackson.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease
Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease
Other Significant Conditions: Traumatic Left Femoral Neck Hip Fracture with Medical History of Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage 3), Anemia, Hyperlipidemia and Osteoporosis
RIP MAMIE JACKSON (June 5, 1928 – September 22, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:22 p.m.
This is classified as an accident because the bone fracture likely initiated the chain of events that led to death.
