Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Black female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Malik Curry.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP MALIK CURRY (September 21, 1975 – February 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:04 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
