Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black female that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Ma’Laysia Martin.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds
RIP MA’LAYSIA MARTIN (February 25, 2003 – April 1, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:20 p.m.
The decedent and her mother La’von Hall were shot at around 7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Street and Central Avenue.
