Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Asian female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Lulu Liu.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Alcoholic Intoxication

RIP LULU LIU (January 11, 1990 – October 8, 2020)

Alcohol poisoning is caused by drinking large quantities of alcohol in a short period of time. Very high levels of alcohol in the body can shut down critical areas of the brain that control breathing, heart rate, and body temperature, resulting in death.

High blood pressure is also a consequence of alcoholism, which increases the risk of sudden death by an abnormal heart rhythm.
