(L.A.) Luis Trelles, 49, Died in a Hotel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hotel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Trelles.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP LUIS TRELLES (January 11, 1974 – May 30, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:26 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
