Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male, who was shot in the 9400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Panaroma City 91402.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Goana [sic].

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:38 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner appears to have misspelled the decedent’s surname as “Goana.” His friends and family use the common spelling “Gaona.”

A witness claims that he saw the victim walking down the street when a white Cadillac sedan pulled up and two people got out of the car and opened fire.
