Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Louie Rius.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Non-Specific Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Conditions: Probable Effects of Mitral Valve Degenerative Disease

RIP LOUIE RIOS (January 10, 1982 – October 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:20 a.m.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s surname as Rius.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Louie Rios” in public records.
