(L.A.) Loryn Cole, 33, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Loryn Cole.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:35 a.m.

The decedent was homeless. He was fatally hit by a blue Chevrolet Corvette racing south on La Brea Avenue. The driver of the sports car fled the scene and failed to identify themselves or render aid to the victim.

The collision occurred at 1:24 a.m. at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard. The Corvette was racing a white sedan.
