(L.A.) Lindsey Trieu, 20, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Asian female that occurred at the courtyard of her residence on Brockton Avenue.

The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Lindsey Trieu of Saint Louis.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

The decedent was of Vietnamese heritage. A witness says she jumped from the top floor of the Brockton Manor apartment building and fell to the courtyard below.

Psychology student at UCLA. Attended Brentwood High School.

She was at UCLA on an ROTC scholarship, which was revoked due to a medical disqualification. Her friends raised money for her in September 2020.
