(L.A.) Laura Vasquez, 54, Died on the Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old female of Hispanic/Latin American ethnicity that occurred on a freeway.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Laura Vasquez of Bakersfield, California.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Idiopathic Congestive Heart Failure
Other Significant Condition: Blunt Trauma
RIP LAURA VASQUEZ (November 19, 1968 – January 31, 2023)
The decedent was killed in a 5 Freeway rollover crash on the I-5 just north of Lake Hughes Roads.
Around 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the southbound 5 Freeway north of Lake Hughes Road in Castaic.
The solo vehicle was a two-door Honda sedan with four occupants. It appeared to have veered to the left, colliding with the dirt embankment, which caused the vehicle to overturn.
Vasquez suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on scene despite an off-duty nurse and a CHP officer attempting life-saving measures.
Two adults and a child were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
