(L.A.) Latesha Washington, 43, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Latesha Washington.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP LATESHA WASHINGTON (January 16, 1981 – August 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:58 p.m.

LAPD said the decedent was fatally hit by a white sedan at Central Avenue and 88th Street.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim, violating the law.
