Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Larry Hicks Sr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Ethanol Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: History of Diabetes

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:42 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.
