(L.A.) Lamont Rencher, 56, Died in Lancaster Prison

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred at a prison/correctional facility.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Lamont Rencher.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboemboli
Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis of Leg

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at the Triage and Treatment Area (TTA) of California State Prison, Los Angeles County (CSP-LAC).
There happened to be two in-custody deaths at CSP-LAC’s TTA on that day.
