Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Black male that occurred in a sober living facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kevin Moore.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP KEVIN MOORE (August 4, 2000 – July 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
